Inventor and scientist
Raôul Oudejans is practical and scientific expert on training the basketball shot and the inventor of the basketball practice glasses. He is an associate professor at the Faculty of Behavioural and Movement Sciences, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and professor Learning and Performing in Sports at the Faculty of Sports and Nutrition, Amsterdam Academy of Applied Sciences, Amsterdam.
His main research and teaching areas are perceiving and moving in sports and other high-pressure contexts such as police work and performing arts with emphasis on the psychological factors involved in performing. The last fifteen years he specialized in the visual control of the basketball shot as well as in training and performing under pressure.
